The 18 November Monday daytime sessions have had to be cancelled due to the building works to install a lift, as explained in an e-mail sent to members. Please note that the club will be open on Monday evening, including for local league matches.

"Next week will be a very busy week as we continue to forge ahead with the building work. The electricians are working on Saturday to prepare the way for other trades. On Monday the steel work will be erected and later in the week we expect to have the plasterers on site. As a consequence, there will be some disruption to bridge activities during the day.

We regret that both Monday 18th daytime sessions will have to be cancelled as the steel erection will be extremely noisy! Once the plasterers start, the first floor will not be accessible for a time. The Wednesday and Thursday afternoon sessions can be held downstairs although there will be some disruption with studwork going up on the ground floor – this is “quiet” building work and any noise disturbance will not be continuous."
