Mike Pomfrey & Arthur Hughes narrowly won the Easter Swiss Pairs on a split-tie, after they and Bazil Caygill & David Fletcher both finished on 70 VP out of 100 VP, Mike & Arthur took the Gold Trophy by virtue of their 11-9 win in the head-to-head in the last match.

The Bronze Trophy for the highest pair of whom neither are Regional Masters or above, was won by Jane Kirk & Steve Willis in 6th place overall.

The winners will receive a prize, as will the handicap winners; Bazil & David, who were less than 1% ahead of three other pairs (Rob Turner & Mary Whyms, Glyn Foley & Peter Camm, and Steve Willis & Jane Kirk).
