It is with deep regret that we report the recent death of Dr. John Hasan, who passed away on Friday 25th November. The funeral was the following day. 

John was a member of Sheffield Bridge Club for many years until very recently, winning a range of the club trophies on offer. In addition to being an SBC member, John was also a long-standing player on Bridge Club Live. Over the course of fourteen years he played a collossal 108,000 boards, an average of over 20 boards a day, and was still playing up to about five days before he passed away.
