Pete Waterman and Martin White finished just 1 VP ahead of Sandy Davies and Bazil Caygill, taking the Gold and Silver trophies respectively in the Easter Swiss Pairs. Congratulations to them, and also the winners of the Bronze trophy, Martin Pierce and Jonathan Brayshaw. The Bronze is nowadays awarded on a handicap basis using the NGS. Martin and Jonathan achieved a MP score 9.5% above their par. Vari Ainsworth and Liz Fisher were close behind.

Elsewhere over Easter, Richard Pike won the Swiss Teams at the Northern Easter Festival with a Bradford-based team, and Dave Rbinson's team made 3rd place.
