EBU "Lockdown League" - entries are open for season 3

The EBU Lockdown league is a friendly league competition for teams across the EBU.

A "season" last four weeks with c.14 eight-board matches played on BBO on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays (nominally) at 6pm.

Entries are now invited from new & current teams for season 3, which starts on Monday 25th May.

Note that:

  • For this third season of the Lockdown League, the EBU will be introducing an entry fee of £20 per team (teams of up to eight players are allowed). Entries can be made through My EBU or by phone or email to [email protected] 01296 317219
  • Teams will be assigned to divisions based on their standing at the end of the previous season. The number and size of divisions will be decided by the organisers depending on the number of teams entering.
  • New teams may only join at the start of a season or as a substitute for a team that drops out. New teams should expect to start in a lower division than merited by the strength of its players.
  • Entries close noon Friday 22nd May.
