We are deeply saddened to report that Jeff Wragg died on 5 April, peacefully at the Northern General Hospital. He had had a heart attack a week earlier.

Jeff had been a member of SBC for nearly ten years and played regularly in both ordinary weekday sessions and as captain of a Waddington League team. He played in the Yorkshire League for many years and, in fact, his last game at the club was in this year’s LOG Jamboree.

The funeral and wake will be held at St Oswald's Church at the corner of Bannerdale Road with Abbeydale Road on Friday 3 May at 2pm. Free parking at Tesco. (There will be a private cremation service at 3.30pm for family only.)
