We converted to using the new 2017 Laws from Thursday evening 24 August. All our TDs have attended a three-hour seminar on the changes to the Laws.

There is not really anything new that the ordinary bridge player needs to know, except that many irregularities will be resolved differently by our TDs. There is an article in the August issue of English Bridge for players who may be interested to know a little more.

It therefore remains as important as ever that we call the TD whenever something goes awry so that the TD can help us out.
