A score of 69% in the second set wasn't quite enough to propel Matthew Kiggins and his partner to overall victory but was enough to garner a close 2nd place in Yorkshire's "major Open Pairs competition". 

Other strong Sheffield performances came from Frank Littlewood & David Musson (4th), Sandy Davies & Tom Gisborne (5th) and Richard Pike & David Waxman (6th). Many/all of whom will have the opportunity to represent the county at the Corwen trophy in June.
