Several Sheffield pairs competed in this qualifying event; all of them finished in the top half but most fell short of greatness.

The marked exception to this were Raphael Grossman and Arthur Hughes who finished first in the Bradford heat and second nationally. Well done to both and best of luck in the final on 8th/9th April.
