Wednesday afternoon 11 January and Thursday afternoon 12 January saw record numbers attend the afternoon sessions.

Eight tables played on the Wednesday afternoon and eleven and a half tables played on the Thursday afternoon, just one pair short of the overall afternoon record set on Monday 19 September last year which was part of the 80th anniversary marathon.

Peter Flavell runs both the Wednesday and Thursday afternoon sessions and deserves much credit on encouraging such good numbers.
