Sheffield received a late invitation to play in the Final of the EBU National Teams of 8 competition on 25 June. The team of Mike Pomfrey (captain) & David Waxman; Sandy Davies and Dave Robinson; Frank Littlewood & David Musson and Richard Pike and Pete Waterman finished a creditable third.
