The final matches were played out on Sunday 29th March.

Our first team were unable to overturn York's lead in Division 1 to retain their title but never the less secured an impressive 15-5 win over York who suffered their only defeat of the season!

Sheffield B narrowly lost to Leeds A 12 - 8 finishing 5th in the table, having already secured their place in Division 1 to ensure Sheffield remain the only club to have two teams in the top Division.

In Division 5 the C team beat second placed Brighouse A 19-1 to cement the title, some 25 VP's clear of Olicana C for their 3rd promotion and 2nd successive League title in 3 years.

In Division 7 the D team beat leaders Leeds D 12 - 8 to secure 2nd place and promotion...for half the team that was also their 3rd successive promotion in three years.

Sheffield E team also won 16 - 4 at Halifax B, to claim 3rd spot, just 2 VP's behind the D team...and may yet be promoted as well.

All in all a very successful year for SBC in the Yorkshire League.
