Yorkshire League Teams of Eight

Division 1. Sheffield A had a reasonable win beating Harrogate A 18-2 to maintain pressure on leaders York A and keep alive their chance of retaining the title. Also in division 1, Sheffield B narrowly lost to Olicana A 9-11 though remain well out of the relegation zone at 5th.

Division 5. Sheffield C got back to winning ways with a comfortable 17-3 victory over York D to return to top of the table and maintain their chances of a third consecutive promotion and a second successive league title.

In Division 7 the battle of Sheffield's teams D and E saw E record a 20-0 victory, their third this season, to give the D team their first defeat. Unfortunately this has let Leeds D into top position with E moving to second and D slipping to third.

The next fixtures are the penultimate ones on 8th March.
