The club's heftiest trophy was won this year by Sandy Davies, Tom Gisborne, Bazil Caygill & Matthew Kiggins with a score of +82 IMPs. Margaret Johnson, Pat Powell, Jean Rodgers & Bill Barraclough were runners up with +43 IMPs.

The trophy also comes with free entry to the EBU's National Inter-club Knockout (NICKO) competition. This competition is a perfect gateway for anyone interested in getting into national teams' competitions. Matches are friendly, only 24-boards in length, and in early rounds are regionalised &/or online. All standards are welcome and you're guaranteed at least two matches because 1st-round losers get free entry to the NICKO Plate competition. If you've never played before... then why not give it a go?
