Sheffield Bridge Club Current Sessions

 Duplicate Bridge is available at the Club at the following times:

  • Tuesday afternoon @ 1:30pm (Ideal for less experienced players. Players with NGS >9 should only play if partnering an inexperienced player).
  • Tuesday Teams evening @ 7:00pm - Teams of 4; 3rd Tuesday only of each month.
  • Wednesday afternoon @ 1:00pm
  • Wednesday evening @ 7:00pm
  • Thursday afternoon @ 1:00pm 
  • Saturday afternoon @ 1:30pm - 1st, 3rd & 5th (when there is one!) Saturdays of each month.

Please arrive at least ten minutes before the session start time.

A Standby is normally available on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday afternoons and also on 1st, 3rd & 5th Saturday afternoons.

Social Saturdays in September -  5th and 19th September.

90th Anniversary Teams - Tuesday, 22nd September

This is the 90th Anniversary of the founding of the club which will be marked with a celebratory cake and drinks from 6:00pm.

This will be followed at 7:00pm with a Special Format Teams Event (see details on notice boards). Sign up list on noticeboard.
90th Anniversary Pairs - Friday, 25th September

9-High Pairs with Cake. Starts at 1:00pm. Sign up list on noticeboard.
90th Anniversary Dinner - Saturday 26th September

At Kenwood Hall Hotel in Nether Edge.
Social Saturdays in October - 3rd, 17th and 31st October.

AGM - Monday 19th October

Annual General Meeting. Detail to follow.
Laura Hadfield Teams - Tuesday 20th October

Teams of four, on the third Tuesday of every month. This month, playing for the Laura Hadfield Cup.

Sign up on the club notice board - especially if you're looking for half a team - or turn up on the night.
All standards are welcome.
