Learning Resources

A set of resources is under development to enable improvers to practice various bidding systems and situations.

Each topic pack contains 144 deals (6 pages of 24) which have been tailored to a specific bidding situation. For example, in the Defence to 1NT [1] pack, the dealer will have a 12-14 1NT opening hand and the next hand will have at least 2 four card suits and at least 11 HCP points. For each deal, the makeable contracts are also displayed.
The sheets can be used by individuals as double dummy problems. In addition, four separate sheets are available, each showing all the hands for each position, so that four people can bid them together.

Additional topics will be added soon and packs can also be produced to your own specification. Please contact Lesley (website@sheffieldbridgeclub.co.uk) with details of any topics you would like to see included.
